"Will You Call Me When You're In Italy?" Your teeth aren't perfect, but I think you're so pretty anyway. My words don't come out perfect, but I think I have a lisp. Can you see without your glasses? They magnify your brown eyes. Can you see me fumbling my words? Can you see the way my heart is beating faster when I see your face? Will your legs run you away? Will the wings of an airplane fly you far away? You can drink red wine with your dinner in Italy, I'll stay home and drink vodka for desert. My friends said you look homely, but I'll come and visit any time you call. Maybe we can meet somewhere inbetween like at the coffee shop I love. I'll buy us each a cup of tea. We'll drink it like I drank that beer, but I'll act more like me. |
